P.1 Vectorscope, yc waveform and RGB Parade.

Vectorscope

The vectorscope provides graphical information on the colors in your footage and is an excellent way of checking your footage to find out if it is within broadcast safe limits or if additional work needs to be done.

The target boxes indicate that they are fully saturated.

YC Waveform

Y = Luminance and C = Chrominance.

This shows the intensity of the video. The bright objects produce a green waveform close to the top of the graph.

RGB Parade

This pretty musch shows the level of the bles, reds and greens which are some of the primary colours.The levels of each color channel are measured proportionately to each other using a scale of 0 to 100.

P.1 Napoleon Dynamite Sequence

The challenge of this project was working with people you haven't worked with before therefore you need to get to know these people and become confident to act in front of them as everyone has to act in these project. It was hard for me as i'm not a confident person at all and i'm really shy in front of the camera but they were nice so they really helped with this.
Also the sound was a problem as it was hard to hear us talking outside as there were a lot of random noises outside and also wind.
I can't draw people at all which is why i hate story boards but i gave it a try but i didn't add a lot of detail which i could have done but i wanted to get the story board out of the way and start doing the shots as the next day we were filming.
The filming process was interesting because i didn't want to be put with random people but now i'm glad i did because i've met new people. The problems we experienced were that the sound wasn't clear enough when we were talking and also that there were people walking past when we were doing our scene inside as its at college. If i could shoot again i would have been less shy and did it from the beginning and also chose a quieter place to shoot outside.

I used basic cut which is simply just putting clips next to each other so the story flows and we know what is going on in the scene.

The difference between our video and the original one is that the lighting was different, brighter and also that we didn't do the shot with the principal outside a classroom or even have a door in the shot. We got confused so we did it outside the lockers where we shot the next shot but we managed to make it flow.

Also we were standing in the wrong side. I should have been standing on the right as i was Pedro.

P.1 Dday With Mobas

MOBAS:

They care about your brand and your marketing and they will help you give your brand a future and they will also take responsibility and give you their opinion about your brand.
They actually work close to their client which is why they're different.

1. What we did yesterday was a day full of activities right after a presentation from Pete about Mobas and what they do for the Company and how theres so many things you dont actually think about when it coes to representing your brand.
We had to create our own clothing brand. My group did onesies and we thought it would be a cool idea and different from everyone else's and we all like onesies and we had great ideas about what to do.
I created the logo which was '1zee'on an orange background as not a lot of websites have chosen the colour orange.
Also i created a facebook page for it and posted pic of onesies on the site and invited people to it.
My team mates made the website, the apps etc...
Then finally we had to do a presentation about our whole things and why would people want to buy our onesies and what are the benefits of having one. Also how to access the company such as email, facebook, twitter etc...
We made sure we had a big variety of social media as its really important nowadays.

2. Yesterday i learned that social media is a really strong thing as every brand is forced to have a large variety of social media as its used by a lot of people and its easier than having to call or actually get down to the store. I also noticed that theres people i dont talk to much as theyre not in my media class anymore and ive missed as we knew each other it was easy to discuss ideas and to work as a team as we were a great team last year. I also knew who was good for doing what such as josh is really good at drawing so i thought he could do the apps as hes the best person to draw as he draws nicely and neat.

3. Ask more question about the Company as it actually is an important thing to think about as i want to study media further on.
